Following planning and site visits there was lots of action yesterday on Preston Lane as the scaffolding went up and pointing and structural work started on the Lodges. This is going to make a huge difference smartening up the street scene, although the tatty doors do have a certain charm. They’ve probably seen some strange goings on over the years!
