A stunning donation to the Baysgarth House Restoration Fund!

Barton‑born wildlife printmaker Colin Blanchard has created a brand‑new linocut inspired by a childhood encounter with a bittern at the old brickyard ponds—and he has generously donated the entire edition to support Phase 2 of the Baysgarth House restoration.

🖼️ Mr Stubbs hears a Boom

Limited edition of 20 signed prints

£180 unframed (backed and wrapped)

All proceeds go directly to the restoration fund.

We are now taking orders, with prints delivered in June.

The print weaves together Colin’s own memory of seeing a bittern as a boy with an imagined moment of artist George Stubbs hearing the bird’s famous “boom” on the Humber marshes. A beautiful story, a beautiful artwork, and a beautiful act of generosity.

These prints will go quickly. To reserve yours, message us or contact Baysgarth House Museum.

Let’s raise £3,000 from Mr Stubbs and help bring Baysgarth House back to life.
